Thursday, December 29, 2011 at 3:19PM We loaded Stella in the car on Christmas morning and headed up to Tigard to celebrate Christmas Day at my sister's house. Although Stella didn't make it up for the Thanksgiving festivities, she was NOT to be denied on Christmas.
She did great. Slept through most of it, but managed to rouse herself to help my brother-in-law while he was in the kitchen . . . you know how that goes.
Somewhere between gifts and dinner, she had a moment with my nephew Geoff.
There she is with that "Omigawd ANOTHER picture?" look. I get that glare often. I say to her, "Just smile and hold still."

Thursday, December 22, 2011 at 1:17PM The other day Sydney reminded me that it was time to make Stella's grooming appointments for the coming new year. Hmmm, I thought and continued to think about it for several days.
Should I make just three appointments - January, February, and March? Should I go out further?
A couple of weeks later, it came time for Stella's December appointment - a much needed appointment, I might add. I had to have the schedule in hand when I walked through the door.
So here's what Stella and I decided to do:
Yep. We made appointments to take us through the whole darn year!

Down the path, through the leaves, and gathering them in her face all the way!
